Clean the slum thoroughly with a slum cleaning brush. Remove the trash with a hand pump, compressed air, or vacuum. Insert the vise through the fixture and momentum with a hammer until the washer contacts the fixture. Tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the specified turnout torque.
